Investors and Shareholders

Investors and shareholders may qualify for exemption from the DPL Labor Market Test. They can then submit their request for a residence permit directly to the DIMAS. On this page, you will read if you are eligible for this exemption.

Investor

In the following cases, you qualify as an investor for the exemption:

  1. You are the CEO or CFO of a company with annual sales of minimum Afl. 10 million net;
  2. You qualify as a foreigner for a director’s license in accordance with the guidelines of the National Ordinance Establishment Companies. You are in possession of shares with a minimum of Afl value. 125,000, -.

Shareholder

In the following case, you qualify as a shareholder for the exemption:

If you come as a stranger, you will not be eligible for a director’s license in accordance with the guidelines of the National Ordinance Establishment Companies but you are: if you are in possession of 40% of the shares of the issued Capital of a company based in Aruba, with a value of minimum power. 50,000, -.
